A great spot for a picnic with family or friends, lots of shady spots to set up for the day, you can bring your cricket set and football as there is plenty of grass area and a good variety of equipment for children young and old to play on. There is a sandpit in the playground too, so you can bring your bucket and spade to dig around and make sandcastles. The Burnside Swimming Centre is within this park, so in summer if you get too hot you can cool off in the pool (entry costs to the pool apply).
